As a result of the battle, Ragusa achieves independence, although it acknowledges Ottoman overlordship.source

1686October 22 – In the Great Turkish War, the Siege of Pécs ends when the Ottoman-held city, located across the Danube River from the recent liberated Buda, surrenders to Austrian troops of the Holy League, continuing the Austrian assumption of control of Hungary.
